Name: Mike Britton
Position: North Texas Healthcare Security Director
Mike joined the Eagle Systems, Inc. Team in 2014 as our North Texas Healthcare Security Director. He is responsible for overseeing the security operations at most of our North Texas/DFW Healthcare Facilities. Additionally, he serves in several key hospital committees, in particular the Environment of Care and Safety committees. He provides other security duties, such as conducting Security Risk assessments, oversees the infant abduction response system and is the primary S.A.M.A. (Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression) instructor for all new hospital employees.
Mike served as the Site Commander/Security Manager at Medical Center of McKinney. In his duties, he provided leadership to the Security Officers who served at both the main hospital campus, as well as the Behavioral Health unit at Wysong. Prior to joining Medical Center of McKinney, Mike served as a Senior Manager for sixteen years at MCI, WorldCom and Verizon, where he led a national team of data network and PBX phone engineers who provided network support to the internal employees of the companies.
Mike served twenty years as a United States Marine, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. Throughout his twenty year service, Mike was a Military Policeman, a Detachment Commander for Marine Security Forces at two U.S. Embassies (Jakarta, Indonesia and Wellington, New Zealand) and as a Company First Sergeant. He also served in other capacities as a Radio and Communications Chief, as well as a Marine Recruiter.
Mike has been married for 42 years and has two children and 8 grandchildren. Mike is active in his local church as a Bible Fellowship teacher, Director of Men’s Ministry and a Deacon.
